Here are three ways that caregivers and family members can help people with lymphedema after breast cancer treatment to reduce the effects of stress on their bodies and minds.

  • Try breathwork — check out this 15 minute breathwork protocol
  • Meditate together — try a Loving Kindness meditation
  • Try Radio Taiso together — even kids enjoy this one!

Learn more about these techniques and why they help people with lymphedema in the book Stress Reduction for Lymphedema, which takes a look at published research on mind-body practices that may reduce the negative effects of stress in people with lymphedema. The book includes step-by-step instructions so people with lymphedema can try many of the practices with their care partners!

This book is a must-read for people with lymphedema looking for evidence-based approaches to reduce the symptoms of stress. Find Stress Reduction for Lymphedema in paperback and kindle here: https://amzn.to/3Q862Q1
